1953 born in London

1971-studied architectural design went onto study Fine art and design and moved to a career as an advertising art director, resulting in a number of industry awards.

Through an association with the Portland Sculpture Trust developed a deep fascination for working with Portland stone, which to this day is my material of choice.

I998 joined East End Arts at the Cable Street Art Factory, working primarily with stone on commissioned pieces and on work for exhibition.
2000 participated in the ‘Limestone Sculpture Symposium’ in Bloomington Indiana.

2001 moved into new studio space in Buckinghamshire, continuing to work on both commissioned work and personal pieces in a variety of media.

2006 relocated to East Yorkshire and work from a studio overlooking the Yorkshire Wolds.working on a series of stone works paintings and drawings exploring a relationship between ideas and emotion as well as continuing to work on commissioned pieces and associated works.

2007 - teaching qualification in adult education and now deliver classes in drawing and painting.

2007 My studio becomes part of Calf House Studios a visionary enterprise set up by Heather and Paul Hayward of Coldharbour Farm, where obsolete 19th century farm building have been converted to an expanding collection of artists and craft workers studios.

2009-2010 Artist in residence at Burton Constable Hall an Elizabethan Country House in East Yorkshire with a history of supporting local art and artists. In recognition of this support a work in Portland stone was gifted to the hall and now is on display in the Sacristy

2010 – 2012. Inspired by a fascination and desire to explore the potential of art and art making to influence both emotionally and psychologically. Studied for and completed an MA in Art Psychotherapy at Sheffield/Leeds Met. University. See page PB Art Psychotherapy.
